Good to Know

  • We kindly request that all guests sign an electronic waiver; the link will be in your voucher.
  • Dress appropriately for the season.
  • Winter & colder months: wear warm hats, gloves, neck warmers, winter jackets, snow pants, thermal layers, and sturdy warm boots. “Hothands” hand and foot warmers strongly recommended-you can find them in sports stores.
  • Summer months: snow pants aren’t needed, but nights in the Rockies can be chilly—bring a jacket, hat, and gloves for comfort.
  • Tours run under varying conditions: partly clear, partly cloudy, mixed skies, mainly cloudy, cloudy, or light snow. In case of rain or heavy snow, we offer to reschedule, provide an alternate tour, or issue a refund. Canmore Travel decides cancellations based on temperature, wind chill, and rain/heavy snow forecasts. If canceled, you’ll be notified in the morning of the tour (forecast often changes last minute), with the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Tours operate between -20 °C and +20 °C.
