Not Included
- Meals - No food or drink in the vehicle.
- Transportation to the tour meeting location.
- Due to congestion and the distance between Banff hotels, pick-ups can take extended periods of time. Instead we offer one central meeting location for pick-ups. This location is close to town, offers free parking, and is conveniently located on the public transit route.
- If you do not have transportation, we recommend contacting your hotel directly, as many Banff hotels provide shuttle services or can assist with transportation options.
Good to Know
- Eligibility:
- This tour is not suitable for individuals with mobility issues, back problems, recent surgeries, or serious medical conditions. Pregnant women are also advised to refrain from participating.
- Additionally, this tour is not designed for children under the age of 8.
- Guaranteed stargazing experience if northern lights do not appear. Northern lights are rare and unpredictable. The tour timing and routing may be adjusted based on aurora conditions. We will contact you via GYG message/email if this is the case.
- Refunds offered on-site by the guide if they expect over 50% cloud cover.
Meeting Point
Meet at the Cave and Basin Parking Lot. Follow the signs once you arrive at the site. The guide will meet you outside the welcome building in the Parking Lot. They will have a clipboard and a smile, please let them know you have arrived. All guests are required to arrive 10mins prior to the tours listed departure time. There is free parking at the meeting location. It is also a short local taxi ride and on the public transportation route. We suggest contacting your hotel about transportation around Banff. Many hotels have shuttles or taxi vouchers for guests.
